»An artist must change up their brain structure!«

Karen, with the help of Elzo, investigates a wave of UFO sightings in Belgium between 1989 and 1992. The two protagonists embark on a psychedelic road trip in which exuberant witnesses of the time parade by.

When they discover the video diary of Marc, a journalist who disappeared at the time of the ufological phenomena, Karen and Elzo come across a sect that is full of crucial information about the journalist’s disappearance.

Born in 1989, Jérôme Vandewattyne spent his adolescence devouring a maximum of films. Already, during his schooling, he secretly made many gory short films in the catholic school. After directing SHE’S A SLUT, a fake horror trailer for the BIFFF, the festival gave him carte blanche in 2012 to direct a short film, the strobe Slutterball. Then he climbed into the van of the Experimental Tropic Blues Band to follow them on tour for more than two years to direct his first feature film: SPIT’N’SPLIT.
