Celebrating the useless and beautiful can also be green! By doing so, we set an example that responsible, sustainable, and climate-friendly event organization is an important concern for us. This is not just about recycled paper, waste separation, or vegan/vegetarian catering, but also about topics such as energy, water, mobility, and, not least, social responsibility.
• We recommend reaching the event locations in Innsbruck on foot, by bicycle, or by public transport (IVB). Note: The festival pass also serves as an IVB ticket during the festival.
• The invited film guests mostly travel by train (reasonable travel time: 8-11 hours). Flights are only booked in individual cases (then: use of CO2 compensation).
• Use of regional, fair trade, sustainable, organic products; avoidance of long transport routes
• Buffet/catering is largely vegetarian or vegan
• Waste prevention through reusable containers; no disposable tableware; consideration of waste separation
• Reduced printing quantities on certified recycled paper or sustainable, organic materials
• No increased energy demand; eco-electricity
• Barrier-free access; culture pass; neutral language
