16.07.2020, 21:15 Leokino Q&A mit Miguel Llansó; Moderation: David Prieth
Cult film connoisseurs and aficionados of the obscure unite, you have found your Holy Grail! Two FBI agents connect to a VR network in Miguel Llansó’s delirium inducing Jesus Shows You the Way to the Highway in order to stop a virus named Soviet Union. This off-the-chain training in practical Dadaism gurgles Filipino 1970s exploitation, recites 1960s Eurotrash, wallows in cheap television thrills of wobbly sets, mixed together with Cold War paranoia and hints of Afrofuturism in a montage to Chiptune tunes, all while a fictitious Beta-Ethiopia is ruled by a tyrannical PoC Batman named Batfro. Without question, this is a masterpiece! (/slash Filmfestival)
